Romina asked me to visit a massive building site in the city.
The architect wanted me to apply a sample of Mineral Silicate Stain to the
ceiling of the lobby as there were heaps of stains and imperfections across the vast surface.
Chris the foreman organised a Scissor Lift to transport me high in to the air.
Once we arrived at the roof I rolled a coat of the Mid Grey stain to
the porous concrete with a medium nap roller. Sounds easy enough,
but ten metres in the air on a swaying platform makes me feel a little nervous...
and I used to be a rock climber!
Anyway, we stayed high in the air as I waited for the first coat to dry before applying the second.
I made sure I rolled the product over a section of ceiling that had
heaps of patches but everything evened out nicely as my roller danced over the ceiling.
