Whenever I introduce anyone to Porter's Paints the first products
I begin with are the primers and undercoats. We have three, so they're easy to remember.
Limeproof Undercoat Sealer was originally developed to seal lime-based paints
so that they could be recoated with an acrylic. It's one of our popular general purpose,
broadwall products and can be used with our traditional paints or our modern, acrylic range.
Universal Primer is water based primer ideal for priming some metals
and translating old oil-based systems into the modern, acrylic range.
Mineral Silicate Primer is a water based sealer binder used on porous surfaces that contain lime.
It compliments Mineral Paint but can also be used internally on set plaster before top coating.
