Duchess Satin is a pearlescent, metallic paint that also has a dirty coloured base before you even begin tinting. Oyster is the name of the base colour. I think this product works best with soft, subtle neutral colours, so I would try and avoid creating darker or bright, synthetic colours.
As the dirtiness already exists within the paint, you can reduce the natural tints (BU, PL, L, C etc.) when creating custom colours. Avoid using KX (White) as this reduces the pearlescent effect.
