I've just spent the last few days in Queensland demonstrating a range of the Porter's Paints
finishes in the trade centres at Lawnton, Indooroopilly, Browns Plains and Toowoomba.
Something I always encounter on these vistits are customers looking for
products that are different, unusual and create a point of difference to mainstream paints.
One of my suggestions on these meet-and-greets is Distemper, with a twist...
Distemper is a traditional interior paint that is brush-applied with a Distemper Brush.
The finish is very flat like Interno Lime Wash but has a softer blooming
that is achieved by adding a chalk and lime solution (if you don't want the soft variations in
colour and texture simply use this product without the additive).
Distemper must be applied to Limeproof Undercoat Sealer.
For a completely natural appearance Distemper can be left unsealed.
Or, wait seven days then brush-apply two coats of Matt Wall Sealer.
This sealer creates a wipeable surface and some added durability
(however, there will be a slight sheen and you do lose a little of the variation).
If you'd like to give Distemper a twist with more depth,
durabilty and interest, once the paint has dried apply and buff a layer of
Stucco Wax to the surface. Simply apply the wax with some muslin cloth,
keep a wet edge, wipe away the excess and buff to a sheen.
Stucco Wax adds a protective layer but because of its natural qualities,
colours and textures within the paint are enhanced
and a finish that is similar to leather is created!

아니면, 7일 기다린 후에 두 코트의 맷 월 셀러를 뒤집어 씌우세요.
이 씰러는 마모성이 있는 표면과 약간의 내구성을 추가로 제공합니다
(단, 약간의 광택이 발생하여 약간의 변형이 발생할 수 있음).
Distemper를 좀 더 깊이 있고, 내구성 있고, 흥미롭게 돌리려면 페인트가 마른 후에
Stucco왁스를 한층 발라 표면에 발라 주십시오. 그냥 왁스를 무슬린 천으로 바르고,
젖은 모서리를 유지하고, 과도한 것과 털이 난 것을 깨끗하게 하세요.
Stucco왁스는 보호 층을 추가하지만 자연적인 품질 때문에
